Job Club<\/h2><\/div>

Our Job Club takes place once a month<\/strong>, on the second Friday<\/strong>, at 10am<\/strong> at RAMA House<\/strong>, 31 Eld Lane, Colchester, CO1 1LS.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is a collaborative initiative delivered with a range of partners, including Council employability specialists, the Employability Lead from Together We Grow CIC, and other local organisations. Together, we support clients with employability skills, CV writing, understanding transferable skills, and recognising overseas qualifications. We also provide essential information around safety, including awareness of modern slavery and exploitation.

We offer additional support through STEP \u2013 the Skills and Training for Employment Programme<\/strong>, which operates on-site three days a week and has proven highly successful in helping clients prepare for work.

We work closely with ILC (International Language School)<\/strong> to help individuals obtain IELTS accreditation for higher education and professional roles, such as hospital or university positions.

RAMA also runs its own ESOL programme<\/strong>, with dedicated support for completing college applications, bursary forms, and referrals to Adult Community Learning and other free local providers.

We partner with organisations such as Signpost<\/strong> and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)<\/strong> to reach marginalised communities who may not otherwise engage with mainstream services.

Crucially, we support eligible asylum seekers by submitting Permission to Work (PTW)<\/strong> applications, helping them take steps towards financial independence and integration.

All refugees and asylum seekers living in Colchester are welcome to join our monthly Job Club.<\/strong>
